Fun N' Games is ONE qualification away from upgrading to the Advanced level in the Wizards Play Network (WPN) – that qualification is getting 32 or more participants to a Magic event. We've had as many as 26 players at an event in the past, but we need AT LEAST 32 players for this one.
To encourage you to come to the event, and to bring your MTG-playing friends, we're making the deal a little sweeter for everyone! We're going to raffle off some incredibly cool items!!
Items we're raffling off on July 11 to M10 pre-release attendees:
- Magic: The Gathering back-lit sign (exactly like the one we have in the store behind the counter). These were made in limited quantity and have an estimated value of $400+.
- 4' x 8' Time Spiral Pre-release Poster featuring the Dralnu, Lich Lord artwork
- Full box of Dissension boosters
- Many additional items, including: promo cards, deck boxes, card sleeves, booster packs, and much more!!!
How do you get entered into the raffle, you ask?
- Everyone who comes to and participates in the M10 pre-release (must play at least one round) will get one entry into a raffle.
- For every friend you bring to the event (it must be someone who hasn't played Magic at Fun N' Games in 90 days or more), you'll get one more entry.
- For pre-ordering one or more boxes of M10 boosters @ $100/box plus tax, you get one entry per box.

Magic: The Gathering 2010
Saturday, July 11 @ 1pm: Sealed deck format event with $30 entry fee - includes product, pizza and soda, and improved prize support (3 boosters per registered player as prize support + random drawings for goodies throughout the event!). It's going to be a party!!!
Friday, July 17 @ 7pm: Booster draft format event with $20 entry fee - includes product and improved prize support (3 boosters per registered player + random drawings for goodies throughout the evening!).
Unlike previous core sets, which were all reprints, the Magic 2010 core set will have approximately 50 percent brand-new cards. Also, Planeswalkers will appear in the core set for the first time starting with Magic 2010. Magic 2010 will contain 249 cards, including 15 mythic rare cards.
