Playroom Entertainment earns another victory point with Portobello Market! “Looks great, plays great, it is great!” This game is simple enough for younger players, yet offers plenty of strategy for adults. Portobello Market is thoughtfully designed to keep costs down and playability up, while retaining the high quality typical for a Playroom product.
The object is to earn more victory points than your opponents. Using one of your three action tokens (2 actions, 3 actions, or 4 actions), you can place market stalls on one of many various point valued spots around this English marketplace, or pull a colored customer at random and place them in an open courtyard. After a “customer” is placed at both ends of a town block, that block is scored for the players who have stalls on that block. As simple as that sounds, a multitude of strategies can arise making this game one that you’ll enjoy over and over again.
